How could anyone in ANY state of mind do something like this to his child. Not that I can see how he could do it to his wife/ex-wife but to a child that is unable to defend themself? Just think what that child will go through for the rest of her life. WOW:mad:

That was almost too hard to read... This kind of news story never bothered me before I had kids (well, it did, but not too much). No frame of reference then, I guess. Now, I find that I get sick to my stomach just HEARING about such utter evil.

I agree, what in the world could make someone hurt a child, especially their own? :mad: I would give my own life to save a child from having to go through something like that.

I have a feeling this will be the absolute worst part of the job I'm now training to do...

After my first enlistment I attended college and had every intention of pursuing a career in law enforcement as it is an honorable profession, and offers the camaraderie, and potential danger that I enjoyed in service.

Until we studied child abuse cases...

After seeing what some of the animals out there are doing to children, I knew right than that I could never legally do the job. I would simply kill "suspects" for some of the things they do to children. Bad people deserve to have bad things happen to them, which is why I returned to my previous profession.

Hence my support and respect for LEO that are doing an important job that I never could.

No, actually, it would be better if we (a) fixed our bull$hit appeals process for retards like this, (b) tried and convicted this bastard and then (c) utilized the death penalty.

No muss, no fuss, have a trial, then send the SOB to hell immediately (saving us the 20 years of appeals).

I think the part that really bothers me is that this happened in rush hour and as the story stated "in front of horrified motorists". No one did anything to help? I don't know maybe yelled at the guy, threw rocks whatever.

I'm not saying go up against a crazy man with a knife but come on, do something. We have become a sad example of "I'm not getting involved, it's not my problem".

Speaking not as a LEO but as a parent if given the choice between me getting stabbed or a 2 year old, I'd choose me. At least I would understand why it was happening and could defend myself a little.

And to all of those that watched and did nothing, I hope they feel the guilt and shame for the rest of their life.

While there are death penalty cases that may not be so cut and dry, the ones that ARE, like this one, should be dealt with in an expeditious manner. Straight from the court room to the gallows imo...

This is a sick freakin world. Yes, its horrible to do this to your ex wife but a child that can't defend himself. Sorry, but I'd be going to jail if I came across something like that.
