I'm a police officer and have seen some information about the stolen property database. I called these guys and would suggest that you do the same if you recover or deal with stolen property. They also have some pretty cool contact numbers for Dell, Toshiba, IBM, Hewlett Packard & check tool.
The database is I am a spammer.
