I would highly recommend that whatever you choose, you opt to get ballistic lenses.

While cheap sunglasses are...well, cheap, they may not stop shrapnel from windshields, brick, masonry, or whatever, in a gun fight.

Ballistic lenses not only offer the coveted "cool points" we all seek, but also provide protection from UV rays and shrapnel.

Oakley, wiley-x, and revision all make quality affordable eye wear with ballistic lenses. Look cool, but protect yourself at the same time.

I wear Oakley Twenty sunglasses with polarised lenses and I love them. A bunch of the guys in my department went through Oakley and got the discount (I paid $75 for $150 sunglasses). I used to have some Wiley X's, but they just didn't do it for me.

I love my Oakley Half Jackets and they are still holding up strong after a year on the street and another 6 months of my own careless handling of them!
Don't just stare at it, eat it!
