Train for perfection...Luck is NOT a tactic!

Sorry, have no information on ALEA.
There are several academies in the area. Mesa has their own with other agencies attending it as well. ALEA obviously does the same. I do not know if any other agency attends MCSO's, but I would assume they do to reduce the cost of running it.
I am not sure what you are looking for with your question regarding how they get along. I have never heard of anyone fighting over who had the better uniform, if that is what you mean. Could you elaborate?

I was just interested if departments fought about what policies would be the official policy taught, because there are many agencies at ALEA that come from different cities and the highway.
Should not be an issue: an agency would not send a trainee to an academy if they had a problem with the coursework. You would learn the basics at the academy and be finished off during the FTO period at your agency.

Sampras2,
I hope you aren't trying to follow Denny Green! He was canned you know.
Good luck with the rest of your process.
Just one of many reasons to wear a helmet!
Hopefully I won't pull a Dennis Green in the hiring process. That wouldn't be good.
