    Why???

Some of our arms aren't long enough to reach very far around our stomach, but I guess his mags are near the front, and he probably doesn't have arms as short as mine :D

To me that doesn't make any sense. Reaching across your body to reach for your mags just doesn't feel "right." I tried it before I went to the firearms range and I didn't like it. Maybe, if others follow suit, they'll change your policy Valor.

It has something to do with our revolver ammo being over there back in the day. When we switched to semi-autos the policy wasn't updated.

Oh, yeah... Most people do transfer hands when loading a revolver. I do that when I have speedloaders. How quaint! :p

I think back in the day they had bullets over there in individual pouches or something. I really don't know and don't get it. I've just been told the policy never changed when we switched to semi-autos. I carry my mags on my weak side and nobody has told me to switch them yet.

The nice thing about the Gladius is that it lets you know when you are getting low on batteries. When I see the indicator I start carrying fresh batteries in my pocket in case I need to refresh them in a pinch. A backup light or backup batteries are always a good idea.
