Maybe if they were 20 feet in diameter.

I can vouch for that. I used to be heavy into auto repair, and from what I've seen, the transmission computer can only compensate for a tire up to a certain size that the vehicle should run. If the tire is too big, it just does what it thinks is the right thing for calculation.

Dude, if a day at the range didn't help, maybe it's time for some time off!

Did I ever mention that I have a 7 month old and we don't do daycare and I work from 5pm-3am and she;s up around 730? So figure for 7 months I've been averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night.

If you change the size tires, it will effect the speedo.
If the plastic geer (inside trans on the end of the speedo cable) is worn or wrong size from the start, it will not display correctly.
I there is a problem with the sending unit (some models), it will not display correctly.

Speedo will be off in percentages.

    EX.
    Displays 55
    Actual 65
    = 15% off 10(Difference) / 65 (Actual)
    If my math is correct

 DOH! I remember those days (barely). My wife is not even anxious to have grandchildren because of that!

    I'm not actually, but
I'll take that as a compliment.

Thought that I would update. I spoke with the officer and he is going to keep the fine the same which I have no issue with but he is going to make it a lesser infraction to help me out. Instead of 3 points it will be 2 and it wont look so bad as 20 over. I can't recall what he is changing it to but I will post when I get it in the mail. Very nice guy but you could tell that he didn't want to really be talking to me - can't say I blame him:cool:
