Yaowza! Well, at least there's nothing broken.
Where is the rest of you? Did they pull it off and beat you with your own arm. Surely that is a bit too much.Originally Posted by Feisty

What about those that have to do both?
BMW R1200RT, the flying, heated 300kg armchair.
The rest of me is fine :D I think a majority of the bruising came from learning how to power draw and spin the baton around.
I also got a few from the batol holds/restraints. We all had to practice on each other and some of the guys in our academy are gung-ho about it.
Every time someone dropped their baton, we had to all get down and do 20 pushups. We did over 100 that day

We dont use the PR-24.....but believe me......we had plenty of time to get to know the ASP.....We had a couple "Tackleberries" in my class too. :D
Ok, not bad for training.

Nothing wrong with wanting to do things right. After all, when you get on the streets (Or where ever you work) is a sh!t head going to say "oh weell you are a girl, I wont hurt you"? Probably not.
Im a big guy and during DT I had to go against a few girls. I didnt let up on them for one second because one day they are going to have some big guy like me, and they are going to need to handle themselves. Now did I injure them? No. I did knock one out though, gotta love the armbar take down!
I knocked one of our female cadets out with a brachial stun......
I did DT yesterday and I feel like I was hit by a truck, but it was a lot of fun.
My partner in the academy was this huge guy from Jersey. Real nice dude, performed his moves effectively but was in constant conversation with me to be sure that I wasn't experiencing too much pain. I did the same for him and we came out injury free! Can't say the same for some of the other groups...
#17 in your program, #1 in your hearts.
Yeah, its nice to have some one who talks to you to make sure things are going ok.
