I have been using a CF-28 for several years. It had a rubberized keyboard
that was backlit. My department recently replaced it with a CF-29, that has
a more standard laptop type keyboard.

Either this keyboard is not backlit, or I just can't figure out how to turn
the light on. Can you help me with this?

I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-48. I use a Kensington light that plugs into my USB port. Some of the guys on my squad like the "red light", so they put a piece of the red Evidence tape over the light.

I like the light because it has a low and high setting.
