Wonder why they call it that?stopped to take this picture in Ferriday, LA got out of the car, took the picture, then realized it looked like a Crack deal going down around the corner about 20 yards away... and I thought it was because it was a run down Trailer park...

He's lined up for the Kill! thought I was a goner when this Crop Duster (look close) got me in his sights near Jonesville, LA (I think)

Can I drive underneath him? I don't think my SUV would have cleared him, but I was tempted to try when he held up 30 + vehicles at 35mph on a Hwy 28 in LA.

If my wife could see me, Now!! GPS sent me down 4 miles of these interconnecting Cow Trails (others were much worse) to get around a detoured and closed road over the hills in western LA between Florien and Negreet, Louisiana

It was the Supervisors car... and he was wearing a white shirt... probably the Chief.

No, I am passing thru, currently on my way to and from Denver, CO in no particular hurry, just seeing some countryside. I bypassed most of Dothan, but got turned around after I stopped at Walmart and went back the way I came, which is why I was stopped in the shopping center figuring things out when the wreck happened.

I live in Coastal SC (see my info.)

No. I went Savannah, Jessup, Douglas, Tifton, Albany, to Eufala ALABAMA.

Those people around Douglas really need to get out more often. I stopped to gas and asked how far to Alabama line. One told me she'd never been out of the area, the other said I'd have to go thru Florida to get to Alabama.

Planning on coming back from Tuskeegee, AL thru Warner Robbins then Statesboro.

I can do Atlanta when I am in a hurry, which is most other times I head west.

Its interesting seeing all those freshly harvested cotton fields. I'd forgotten how big a crop it still is to the South. You don't see that too much on an Interstate.

I'm in that nice county on the border between GA/SC on I-20. If you choose to come back that way, let me know.

    To quote a popular song.

Your folks picked cotton here, that's why we call it the fields.

I'm sorry, I always thought you were nearer Atlanta for some unknown reason. Mae Culpa!

Great Pics Creeker! I would love to take a road trip xc, but I think I would have to invest in a GPS like you did, so I don't have to travel on the interstates the whole time; you can't see much of the country that way. Keep up the posts, I would love to see them.
