Now I'm pis@ed! For those who know the never ending court battle I've had with my son's mother...

Now: Just got another court date. She's now asking "retro-activley" for daycare expenses for the past year while she lied to the court and kept me from my son, and kept the "phase-in" period (estimated at approximately $3500.00). Do you believe this b.s.? What a joke! Never ends (couldn't find my last long thread, so started this new one).

I thought by your last post that things had gotten a little better but I guess not.......

Please remind me to never have to fight anything out in the Michigan court system.....they seem to really **** at their job....no offense

And as always.....Keep your head up.....i know I say it all the time but EVENTUALLY there will come some Justice for you and if it takes you all of his life well then at least he will know that you fought for him and that his mother caused it. And ppl wonder why children grow up warped...

Here's some very interesting news...Judge Judy wants my cases (there's two). Serious. I'm going to try and do it too. I'll let everyone know soon.

Well, it never ends. She told me this last Monday that I couldn't take him because he was sick and agreed to making it up by letting me taking him today (Wednesday), Thursday and Friday. Now she calls and says he's still sick and again denies me, while telling me I'm still going to have to pay daycare. Yeah, I'll make my complaint, but I've learned that the judge isn't going to do anything about it anyway.

Hmm, you find it funny that he's so sick you can't see him, but she still takes him to daycare. Most parents I know take a day off when their kids are that sick - or let the other parent take care of the kid. I tell ya, your ex is pretty stupid. Very stupid, in fact. Good luck.

Well I'm here to post an update; an update I never thought I'd post...

I made another complaint against my son's mother at the Friend of the Court. The complaint was simply that she went on vacation with my son for three weeks, but when it was time to "make up" the three weeks, she told me her attorney told her she didn't have to. So I made a complaint not expecting a single thing to happen. Anyway...

So I go in with all my dates listed of what she said on each day and what days she denied me, etc. (basically had all my ducks in a row), and she does something I never ever thought she would...

...she gives up. I'll say it again; she gives up. She said she was tired of going to court and was out of money (join the club) and agreed to give me normal visitation (every other weekend, every Wednesday, every other holiday and two weeks in the summer, AND, AND, AND...agreed to stop daycare, which is what completely floared me. First off, understand she was getting it illegally anyway; she's no longer working plus when she was, we work opposite shifts and I'm entitled to "First rights of refusal" giving me the option of watching him before paying daycare...it's just the sorry judge (Joseph Farah, Flint, MI) didn't want to make a decision on it.

Anyway, I'm sitting in there with her and the FOC counselor, and I literally couldn't believe what I was hearing. I actually pinched myself in front of the lady and she asked, "What are you doing?" I said "I'm just making sure I'm awake, because I can't believe what I'm hearing. I've been in court over 2 years now and over $10,000 in debt to attorneys and now she agrees..."

Anyway, I still can't believe it, but I got the order in my hand. So if she was possessed or something that day and decides to change her mind, it's too late. It's just ashame it took so long, cost both of us a lot of money, AND the system couldn't of just done this in the first place.

Jason, I am so happy you finally got what you were fighting for all this time. It breaks my heart tho that it took so long and it seemed like it was a neverending battle. Hopefully it will stay resolved permanently. And more importantly I hope psychowitch doesnt go back on her word (which we have seen her do soooooo many times before) But anyways, good luck and my thoughts are with you on this joyous occasion... :D

Thanks. From a legal standpoint, it will be much harder for her to change her mind this time since she signed the new order. But then again, that theory would "make sense," something the family courts don't understand. But thanks again; I'm still in shock, but I'm thanking my lucky stars.

How wonderful for you!!!! I am really glad that you never stopped fighting, even though I am sure it was frustrating for you. It's nice for me as a woman to see that there are men out there who will do anything for their child, even if it means fighting the demon spawn that is the mother.
My mother always taught me "What goes around, comes around" and your ex will get hers in the end. I am just glad you didn't resort to using your child as a pawn in this game she played.
I still think Judge Judy should have heard the case - she would have said all the things that you wish you could have said to your ex!!!
Again, I am very very excited for you and your son!!!!!

Thank you very much everyone...I appreciate the support. I pick him up today (Friday, 8-16) and this will be his first ever weekend over. My band is practicing tonight and for once he'll get to come and see me play. Thanks again for your words of encouragement along the way too. I've almost given up a couple of times.
