Michigan Riots over Motorcycle death in Police chase

The riots are ending as we speak. They are pulling the officers from the city and the barricades are down.. Good news lets hope.

Things like this happens...IMO it was his own fault for running from the cops...But the racial issue i dont think that should have been brought up saying that im black myself...But im sure this wont be the last time riots and stuff like that erupt...And far as the F'em Part I dont think of them like that...I would just let them cool down and apolgize to even things out...Nothing to get ugly about...

I live in St. Joseph... the town that is right next to Benton Harbor, and I work in Benton Harbor. there are a lot of racist people in this area... both black and white. there are just as many black racists in Benton harbor as their are white racists in St. Joseph.. maybe more.

This case is cut and dry. The motorist did not stop, the cops chased him, and he crashed himself into a house. I feel bad about the guy dieing, but he brought it on himself.

The city of Benton Harbor has a "No chase" policy in city limits. This guy started out about 10-15 miles away, and was chased by 2 other depts. before Benton Township took it up. the township did not have a "No chase" policy. I think they did the right thing. I myself would rather see the motorcyclist die, than to see him hit a little child, or even an adult, going 100-120 mph.

The ONLY reason there was even an issue with the residents of benton Harbor, is because the cop was white. Every time something happens in Benton Harbor, it's because the cop is a racist, never mind the fact that over half the cops in Benton Harbor, and Benton Township are black.

It's going to happen where something happens in Benton Harbor, and the cops will look the other way... and I wouldn't blame them. their damned if they do, and their damned if they don't.
