We have one of those. It used to be used for parking enforcement but now that we're at shift minimum for every shift it just sits in the garage..... along with the motorcycle and the bikes.

I think Vancouver has those things for parking enforcement as well. They kind of remind me of the three wheeled car that Mr. Bean always had it in for :D

Yep we do. But those are under City Engineering, and not under the PD if I recall correctly.

Yeh all he old cars have the shield cut where the door panel is, which is stupid. Mine also has the spotlight on roof, where you control with a remote control in the center console. It has its advantages and disadvantages. Like I said, mine is one of the oldest at the department, all new ones have side spotlights and no cut in half shields.

I am SUPER LATE in posting to this topic. Here is my take-home crusier (2004 CV)......



.....with 20% tints. It had a little over 30,000 miles when the department gave it to me back in August. I am still in the process of personalizing it. I have the factory radio in there now. By next month, I should have the capabilities to plug my laptop into a docking station and access WALES/NCIC, NLETS, III, Columbo and all the forms that I need.

This is the car that I drove the most before I got my take-home.......

At the risk of being ashamed, this is my "new" patrol vehicle (for my new job).



We're getting a new truck come May, so I'm positive that I won't have to slide around in this abomination for too much longer. :D
