Shniekies thats gonna leave a mark! DAYUM that is f'ed up. To me it looked like the guys forearm snapped in half. Did the suspect get hit? I couldnt tell. I bet the female cop got in serious trouble. It'll be interesting to see what LEO will say about this.

HOLY SH!T!!!!!
Time to change partners...
I say she should get fired. She should not have had her finger on the trigger unless she was ready to fire her weapon. One of the first rules at the range is, keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire. I have been in law enforcement for 14yrs and have never had an accidental discharge. I don't think there is any excuss for it. Some people may think that is harsh, but oh well. If she can't handle her weapon then she shouldn't have one.
We have to requalify every 6 months. One of the times, I was on the range a female correctional officer accidentally shot herself in the leg. There was one person in between her and I. Once she shot herslef she started screaming and waving the gun around. Boy, was I nervous!!!
If I was the black officer, I would definitely want her fired and never, never, never be my back up again.
Everyone makes mistakes from time to time, but this kind of mistake should never happen. (just my 2 cents).

DOH!!! Not good.
Holy crap - she is SO screwed. She should be fired, for sure.
There will be a nice civil lawsuit for the suspect, and even the other copper. (He's quite the large dude, by the way!)
You can see that she knows she f'ed up because she puts her hand over her mouth like "Uh-oh". I wonder how long she's been on the force?
Thanks for posting that, scruit.
There is no such thing as an "accidental discharge", in my opinion. It's a NEGLIGENT discharge. Quite obviously she should be fired, and if it was up to me she would be charged criminally as well. Absolutely no excuse whatsoever. I'm sickened by watching it.Originally posted by shebear

What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?
I would like to know the whole story of the arrest. It appears to me that the suspect was under control and was not resisting. If he was, I'm sure it was not lethal. What the f$#k was she doing with her gun out? And on top of that she was stupid enough to have her finger on the trigger. I would have had a hard time not beating her to within an inch of her life...after I cleaned my wound and my shorts.
Hello Chief,
Open the checkbook and write a one with a whole lot of zeroes behind it. No no, I didn't tell you to stop yet.

BTW, the cop was rolling his arm over to look at the wound. It did not appear to me that the arm was deformed.

I have never actually shot a gun before, but isn't there varying degrees of pressure that can be put on the trigger before it actually hits the point where a round will be shot?

I did a frame by frame. The arm is not broken. For a short period of time he bends his wrist back and it looks like a broken arm. He must have long hands. But he then reaches down to take control of the suspect again and his arm is fine.
The suspect wasn't writhering in pain either, so I bet he wasn't hit.
I liked how she hurried and put that gun away really quick.
What an idiot! That is ridiculas! Find out where she is, because I want to stay far far away.

You caught that in less than a second of film? Not withering away in pain? How do you know this? Ever been shot?Originally posted by gdowkpc
