I went white water rafting two summers ago at Cache Creek. Our party split up into two man teams. ( The river is a Class 3 & 4) It was an all day event which was spent tipping over our rafts and flying out of the raft after hitting rocks. We even managed to go down one of the rapids backwards. Although it was only 9 miles down the river, we managed to have many stops before reaching our final destination. :D On this day, the ice cold beer waiting for us at the end was the best I had ever drank. And I'm not a beer drinker. ;)
My only experience with kayaking is taking my kayak on lakes. It's nice to kayak while having the opportunity to enjoy the scenery...
"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble; that can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."
