Internship with Albany PD!

Just figured I'd use the opportunity to brag about the internship i'll be doing this summer. 15 weeks, 40 hours a week. I'm going to do a rotation with Narcotics, Criminal Investigations, Juvenile investigations (crimes by and/or against juveniles), and Forensic Investigations (Crime Scene techs). I'll also get to hang with the swat team, get involved with the planning stages during training exercises, and as the lieut. put it, "shoot all the toys." In return for all this cool hands on learning experience, they want me to do a little research and help them get some grants from the gov't. Sure it's paperwork, but it's kinda cool with me too, cause even if I never do anything after this internship I can say I helped fight crime by getting money for a police department.

Oh, and yeah, I GET TO WEAR A VEST!!!

After that I'll have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Investigation
