During my interview with the Herndon Police Department, my supervisor asked me why I wanted to get into LE and I said that I was tired of seeing problems in my community and wanted to make a differnence in society. Do you think 1 person can really make a difference? Do you feel that you (personally) are really improving society by doing your job?

From my aspect, I wouldn't say I improve society.
I know, however, that I make a difference in people's lives - of that, there is no doubt.

I don't believe I make much of a difference on my own but I try my best and then I can walk away knowing I gave them the best service I could.

Everything single thing I do makes a impact on society. The ticket i give someone today for running a red light could save someones life tommorow. The arrest I made last night could better a family for the future. Everything thing I do has a impact on society.Thats what gives me the satisfaction.
