I've heard it "Loo-Pold" and "Leo-Pold" (Where "Leo" is said like the sign of the zodaic)

I have always used the latter, but I had to call the company because a friend of mine was insistant that it was "loo-pold"

When I called - they answered the phone "leo-pold" ..... when I explained my question, the answer was, "We don't care how you say it - as long as you keep buying our scopes."

Most of us pronounce it Loo-i-vull. We can spot a tourist from a mile away by how they pronounce it. ;-)
