I always wince when I am watching cops or something and see the poor police officer have to stick his or her hand into an unknown pocket. It has gotta be one of the not so fun parts of the job.

Mmm, thread necromancy. People always thought I was "trying to look tough" when I'd wear those Hatch Guardian gloves, with the bloodborne barrier between the leather and the lining. Had a property with alot of retired cops, who were like, "Bloodborne pathogens? We didn't wear gloves for that, we just didn't touch em."
... I'm quite sure they walked a beat uphill both ways in a 6 foot blizzard, too.
