    What should I say?

I run a website with police car pictures I take- Police Car Pics. I want to ask my local police dpt. if I can get some up close pics, maybe if somone could open up a car for me or something. I just dont know how to approach the situation. If I just start taking pics, ill be arrested for terrorism, but I dont want to waste their time... what should I do?

    Thanks

I like to avoid problems... if not terrorism, it would be trespassing.

Lmao, green on the way TX. I love your blatant sarcasm!

Just speak with an officer at the station, and tell him what you told us. There may be restrictions on photos inside the vehicle, especially of the equipment, but as I am not an officer I couldn't tell you for sure.

Just ask. Just tell them you want to see what your taxes are going for. :p

You should march in and yell "I AM CORNHOLIO!!! I HAVE NO BUNGHOLE!!! I NEED TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR CAR FOR MY BUNGHOLE!!!!"

In all seriousness, it's not an uncommon thing. Either go in and explain your website and that you want to take pics or if the cars are parked out in public, just go take a couple of pics. You won't be arrested for terrorism. There are many police car picture sites out there.
