Someone had asked in a previous thread when National Police Week is, it is May 15 - 21. The autism community in our county has decided to honor our officers throughout the week with baked goods, sandwich deliveries and such along with cards of thanks. We had some business cards printed up to say thank you. We have 57 police departments in our county ranging from 2 officers to 60 officers. families have joined together and are really excited about an opportunity to say Thank you. We have also distributed blue ribbons to tie to car antenna in honor of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. It is our hope to expand throughout the state next year. I'm very proud of the efforts of these families. They organized and pulled it all together in a couple of weeks. I believe our officers will be surprised by the show of support but as I say "It's always a good day when you can shock a cop." ;)

Yeah, it's gonna be alot of fun. I talked my academy class to do the torch run with me.
