Hey. I'm a TV writer in Los Angeles. I'm developing a new show for
20th Century Fox that focuses on the lives of cops. Less true crime, more
stories about the personal struggles LEOS go through. I have nothing but respect for the work and want very much to get it right. I am looking for beat cops, especially women, who could answer some questions. No names are needed, if that helps. I'm sure you all have strong feelings about the way cops are shown on TV, and I want to know what you think.

The way cops are shown on TV? If the movies not about a cop, and theres a cop in the movie, he's usually eating a donut or doing something stupid because thats how some stupid directors are and basically shows that they think just like any other prick that walks the planet. That's one thing I have noticed while watching different movies when the 'cop' isn't a star. Thats, one of the 'strong feelings' I have about the situation. (btw, im not a police officer, yet)
