Sorry you are so fragile that you are actually "shocked" at the responses on this law enforcement oriented site. :( (If I remember correctly, are you not also the person who got upset by a "look" from a police officer in an elevator?)

You have been spared the sights, sounds and smells of human tragedy that "shock" the most experienced and highly trained men and women in law enforcement. Men and women who have chosen, of their own free will, to risk their lives and emotional stability to protect and assist others. Men and women who race toward the sound of gunfire while others flee from it.

I would suggest that if you are truly "shocked" by reading words on a screen, whilst in your safe environment, that you click on that little X in the upper right hand screen and save yourself any further emotional trauma.

The bottom line, Ma'am, is that you have a choice here to avoid any further “shock.”

You can simply go to another web site where everything is beautiful, the birds are chirping, the sky is a wonderful clear blue and foo-foo politically correct comments abound.

The men and women of law enforcement will still be out there at night protecting the innocent, bravely marching through the Gates of Troy into the Face of Chaos, spilling their own blood in the name of public safety, and...............entertaining themselves, off-duty, with witty, sarcastic and stress relieving comments to the nuts who barge in here with asinine, irrational and unbelievable ranting.

I have to agree with her to some respect. There are those out there that add nothing but sarcasm and innuendo. And some are just plain disrespectful to real, honest questions.

If people are unhappy with the way they are treated here, there is another way to go out solving the problem other than mudslinging and pointing fingers (it does happen). There are moderators here for a reason, and people can report a post or send a PM to them and try to resolve the situation like adults.

I think the problem is that we are often better than the general public at sniffing out trolls and imposters. Then when the general public sees one of them catch their well deserved verbal beating, they don't realize what they did or said that lead things to that point. We get lied to on a day to day basis by professionals, it is kind of sad to watch when amateurs come here and try it.
