Completed my first OC certification last night

We were required to take the hit, move 5 feet, grab a radio and call for help, move another 10 feet, and hit a bag for 5 seconds -- then decomtaminate (aka, get the garden hose and Dawn dish soap).

I gotta tell you, it really puts OC use in perspective... I'd rather be hit with the Taser. :eek:

I agree. However, you got off lightly. After getting sprayed, we had to run to a station and do knee strikes for 30 seconds. Run to the next and punch a bag for another 30 seconds. Then it was on to station #3 for 30 seconds worth of baton strikes. Station #4 consisted of using forward and backward baton jabs for.....you guessed it thirty seconds. The instructors left two stations off because of equipment needs and, what I believe to be, strong sympathy for a sorry bunch of maggots!!! :D
