Again, I said: some (not ALL, but some)

Why would you say I said EVERYONE when I clearly did not? Why you would choose to infer that I said EVERYONE is beyond comprehension.

I have repeatedly tried to be cordial, apologetic (when applicable) and non-confrontational. I didn't say PERFECT. I said that I TRIED.

Why you and the few others (not EVERYONE, not ALL, not MOST) continue to beat a dead horse is beyond me.

It appears as if there is a modis operandi about some people here to goad others into saying things that may result in their getting in trouble on these boards or upset those who moderate them. Do you ENJOY doing this? I just don't get it.

Please name the "Hardley-Ableson"(jerk) that costs $25,000, and has a 68 Horsepower engine.

If you are going to TRY and prove points, try and make them at least a tiny bit factual.

Otherwise you come across as a complete *** to the reader.

I stopped taking your post seriously as soon as I read the stupidity in that paragraph.

The horse is still dead. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless.

Say, are you the Jeff (K)nights that used to (or still does) build/sell the "Tire-Quik" motorcycle wheel/tire changing kit?

    Perp,
Thanks for your input and although I respect your faith, those of us who are motorcyclists and have been so for many years, will sometimes not rely on God so much as having good common sense when it comes to riding. This has NO bearing on what this thread is discussing, but if I have a friend who is asking for adivice on riding or what kind of M/C to buy, then I will give them sound advice, and not "leave it to god" to look after them. To tell someone that "God is much better to have than experience" is inviting disaster to someone who is new to Motorcyling and trying to decide what kind of M/C to have.

I have seen far too many young men become seriously hurt or killed because they bought a M/C based on what was the most powerful/fastest at the time and didnt heed the advice of riders who have alot more experience than them. This was irrespective of their beliefs. I think its great that you have faith and I admire the fact that others can take solace from theirs. Please dont tell motorcylists, however, that god will look after everything. They certainly have a hand in how events will turn out if things take a turn for the worse while they are riding someday. To tell them that god will look after everything is to absolve them of their responsibilities while driving, and the first thing we need to be is responsible. I say this to you not knowing if your a motorcyclist, but if you are, I hope this gives you a moment of pause the next time a younger biker asks you for advice. Cheers.

    Perp,

I have a personal relationship with our Father. I also realize that He has provided us Free Agency. In other words, He has pointed us in a correct direction, but left it entirely up to us to pick which path we will take at a fork in the road. It can be no other way, otherwise, why would we even be here? It HAS to be left up to our personal agency to make decisions.

Now, this may sound a bit off base, but God has provided us with the intelligence to invent bullet resistant vests. It is, however, our choice on whether we wear it to work.

With this in mind, I have difficulty believing it was God's will that an officer was shot in the chest and died while his/her vest sat at home. The decision to not utilize the vest was left to the officer.

The same applies with riding a motorcycle. You cannot recklessly operate the motorcycle with the idea that anything that happens is going to be God's plan.

God gave us higher intelligence, I must assume that He appreciates it when we use the gift properly.

If you rode responsible, you would buy a different style bike, plain and simple. Also how many mature adults do you catch on them?"

Youstate you are not stereotyping but in the above comment you. Some people might not like those Cruiser type bikes. A bike is a bike whether it be a crotch rocket or cruiser. You should were helmets on both and neither have surrounding protection. Either/Or, it is a PERSONAL preference NOT a Fact of Resposability or Maturity

Me calling you a Monday morning quarterback was a humorous statement. You’re the one who opined that it was immature. So I guess when someone else does it, it’s immature but when you do it, it's humorous right? OK, I get it.

Bone up on your reading skills, Guy. The advice I was referring to was that you shouldn’t come here and try to make a point by belittling people in this forum. Like I said, makes no difference to me either way.

Again, you are either confused or need to bone up on your reading comprehension because I never made that statement. You must have me confused with someone else. What I did take offense to was your arrogance in assuming that my crash could’ve been avoided if I knew how to ride better. What the f*** do you know about it? You weren’t there. Don’t presume to know anything about me or my riding skills. I’ve never had a beef with anyone on this forum, but you’ve managed to piss off a few people in one thread because you come off as a know it all. Whether you’re a PO or not, you can still make a valid point without being an *** about it.

“Good day” right back at you…Sir.

I think the thread has outlived it's usefulness. Dr MC has checked for a pulse and there is none to be found.
