Anthrax, anyone?

Is anyone else still getting anthrax calls? How do you handle them?

I had one I gave out this morning for a woman who saw 2 strange parcels on her front porch of her apartment building. After sending 2 guys to check it out, it was determined to be Ice Melter. I was lucky enough (????) to be taking phone calls for a few minutes when she called back. She didn't believe that it was Ice Melter and wanted an ambulance to check her out for exposure... **Sigh**

Yes, warlock, I am.
I tell cops where to go allllll day. I also am required to work on our phones approximately 4 hours a week, to keep up on my skills. (We have phone operators who are just trained on phones, and then dispatchers who do both).
Some of the funniest stories I have are when I work those phones! LOL

Nope. Not ever. I think my skills and interests are more fitted to what I do.

In San Luis Obispo, CA. I volunteer to answer the phones and let me tell ya, you wouldn't believe half of the calls I get. I can't actually imagine being paid to answer the phones!:p

I remember hearing a call on the radio shortly after 9/11/01. Some old lady was walking her dog, and the dog stopped and barked at a phone pole. She called the police because her dog never barks on walks and she thought the pole had anthrax on it :rolleyes: :D

well if the lady insist on having a check in the hospital i would ask her if she was covered by the insurance or not.

then i would advise her to drive there and have a check well not that she can't walk eheheehehehe
