HAHAHAHHAHA!!!! What a bonehead!
Some people just don't THINK.
Have a heart stump, the man is 79 years old. Some aren't as sharp at that age.:(
It's not peer pressure......it's just your turn.
Ahhhh i agree w/ Nitey. I don't think he meant any harm or realized the danger...his heart was in the right place.
Not saying what he did was right, but I dont think he should be judged so harshly.
And I'm sure it made quite a site![]()
Bunch of sissies afraid of a grenade. As long as the pin is in and the lever is on whats the big deal?

Seen any cats around her tx?;)

I didnt mean to imply that I would be hard on the guy. If they gave him a good talking to, they prob did that instead of filing charges against him
I do feel sorry for him tho, he prob almost had a stroke:/
Btw I wish my gun range had a grenade range too....and maybe an AMG launcher as well....that would be nice....err must stop daydreaming!

My grandpa Barr used to collect grenades, you do have to be careful around them, esp when they get old the pins rust and setting them down hard could be....umm interesting.

Yea probably caused a few heart attacks seeing as how it happened in Canada. That city is an hour north from where I grew up, and its too bad he gave it to the police I would have liked it. In Canada the average person would wet themselves if they ever saw a handgun (and if it was explained to them what it was).
Nitey, I do have sympathy for older people, believe me. But out of respect for YOU, I apologize for the un-PC comment. I don't think they should have yelled at him, because I am sure he didn't know any better anyway. Not many people THINK about those kinds of things.
Lol, thanks stumpz. I never ment for you to feel bad or apologize about the comment. I was just trying to be all squishy and nice (hint: if you see a face in one of my posts, it means i'm not really being serious;) )

Thats one of those situations where "If you see the bomb technician running, try to keep up".
Yah..that guy wasn't really thinking. I can see the Public Safety evacuating though. Not everyone is an expert on bombs.
America
You don't have to be an expert on bombs. It is a matter of protocol/procedure on how things are handled.
Our 911 center had to be evacuated a few months back because someone called in a bomb threat (happens at least once a week) and upon a walkthrough, we discovered a suspicious cylinder on the premises. (You should have seen the first cop run out of the building!!!! LMAO!) We didn't think it was anything, but our protocol says we had to evacuate and call in the bomb squad. That was a riot, 50 people being transported from our main center to the backup center in a parade of police vehicles running with their lights/sirens! :D
