Signal 20, truck in a pool......

While on a ride-along out on patrol last week, another car working the area where we were at got a call stating a truck had run off the road into the swimming pool in a resident's back-yard. My partner (also an FTO) smiles & says "You know we gotta go by & see this". We get to the scene to find an older S10 pickup truck nosed into the side of a nice above-ground swimming pool. The truck had run over the curb, went through the yard, through the wood fence in the backyard & smashed through the deck around the pool, where it finally stopped. 2 16-year olds were responsible for the mess, & it was determined they were under the influence of alchohol (they were Drager tested, although I do not know what their BAL was). They also had a .22 rifle (loaded) & an M1 .30cal Carbine, which we relieved them of. The 2 were then taken to juvenile detention. The night was otherwise uneventful. This had to be one of the stranger scenes I have seen (would have been really funny on COPS).

I have no idea what signal 20 is, by the way...

We had a discussion about this at work one night - would that be considered an MVA (motor vehicle accident) or a "drowning" incident (only if the status of the occupants is unknown or if they are injured), since the car ends up in the water.....
Or is this considered off topic? I don't want to change the course of the thread.
