After seven years as a police officer I decided to leave my department for what I hope are greener pastures. There is one catch though; I have to go through another academy (No out of state laterals at this department.) Today was my first day at the academy and already I am counting the days until graduation. Wish me luck and I hope this old dog can learn some new tricks.
