I'm going to a presentation tomorrow about the Drop Program. It won't be long before I go on to my next career as a Writer and Illustrator of children's books.

Meh....think I'll chicken out??? Thinking about it now makes me feel like a big part of my life would certainly change and I would miss it. RetDetSgt, Corporal, any advice?

Does anyone here want a nice cushy job that I can pass onto them? I damn sure don't have any Officers that I feel could take over with all the stress and politics.

Thanks, Guys. You are the best! I have reserved feelings like I think I need to run something. I am so tired of the everyday crap, though. It would be nice to retire. I've received a lot of backing about running for County Commissioner but I don't want to. My boss does and he wants me to be his Commissioner Aide. I think I could probably handle that at 80K a year.
