Danner boots, are they worth it ? Looking into getting a pair today. I usually go with Rocky's but am looking into Danner. Hows the ware and comfort of them and are they worth the price ?

not thinking I searched after I posted and read some links. Has anyone had any problems with Danners though ?

Danners are the She yit. I've had two pair of their Ft. Lewis boots and they are probably the best I 've ever owned.

I have heard a lot of good comments from the guys in our agency who wear Danner. When the tactical team was reformed that's the boot brand they went with. Don't own a pair, but it must be a pretty good product.

Danner Acadias kick serious ***. Almost as comfy as my tennis shoes.
My wife left me alone with a case of Corona, a bag of limes and the cat. Beer is gone. What will I do with the extra limes and the cat?

I have the 8" Strikers. I LOVE them! They were stiff at first, but thats to be expected. They are very very comfy now.

I wear Danner's for the "full size" boots, but I still like Rocky's for the chukkas or 3/4s.
