eat a BBQ sandwich while you drive!

While on patrol I odserve this vehicle cross the double yellow line with almost all 4 wheels! I stop the vehicle and ask for OL and registration. While he's still grubbing his BBQ he tells me his OL is in his wallet at home :rolleyes: gee never heard that before. HE stated that he was opening his sandwich and looked up and was in the other lane.

I get his SS# and DOB and call it in. Yep he's suspended and had been notified by court and law enforcement. I go back and ask him what was up with his suspension and he still denies it. The kept asking for a break. From one human to another. I told him I was giving him a break and I was not arresting him but releasing him on a summons.

AS I was explaining the summons to him he starts the vehicle. WTF? I not so politely tell him to turn off the car because he was not driving anywhere! He starts cussing loudly and says we are ruining his life. My Sgt. tells him he's going to arrest him for disorderly conduct if he didn't shut his mouth.

He then signs the summons and as I give him his copy he balls it up. I yet again advise him that that was his promise to appear and if he destroys it then I'll go ahead and take him before a magistrate now. He then tries to get the wrinkles out of it. LOL The last I seen of him was him walking down the road punching the air and flailing his arms in a rage. Gee was it something I said? hehehehe

you should have taken him before a magistrate and towed his vehicle. hehe insult to injury.
