I hear this call come over the radio. A deputy is requesting a PD unit meet him because he just stopped a vehicle that was dragging a dog behind it. And thank you God it was not on my side of the city.


The stupid woman was suspended had her 2, under 5 years old, children unrestrained. She walks over, picks the dog up and chucks it in the back of the truck and tells the kids "The dogs dead" with no remorse. The officer is going to meet with the Commonwealth's attorney to see what charges to file.

That is terrible. I have two dogs and love them deerly. Personally, I consider animal cruelty almost as bad child abuse (which I can in no way tolerate) and that really breaks my heart just as much as it angers me.

What about citing her for improper towing or something along that lines? I think it would be hard to prove intent for animal cruelty, negligence maybe. But yall are the experts.

I think I would find every excuse to lock her up and call childrens/social srvices for the kid.
