77 Pounds Of Cocaine Seized In Orange County
VIDOR, Texas -- Orange County deputies found 77 pounds of cocaine with a street value of about $10 million Wednesday in two gas oxygen cylinders in a pickup truck during a routine traffic stop.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a news release that it took two men into custody on charges of possession of a controlled substance. Their names were not released pending arraignment. One man was from Huffman and the other from Channelview.
Deputies stopped the vehicle for failing to signal a lane change and for failing to drive in a single lane. Deputies said the cocaine was wrapped in cellophane packaging.
