Salute to FBI
Thanks FBI for taking care of so many complex problems and running all over the nation, and then - some - for the nation we love.
For the deceased and living:
FBI,
I LOVED you yesterday
like I loved those
Who volunteered to fight
Wars;
putting mission: rights, and, often lives,
first.
And like fireman entering
a hell-on earth
home,
although it's not their own,
and say, "It's O.k."
So who would argue, it's just
The pay?
I love you today
as I see
in some poor souls
their lonely
screams
that don't change things,
and tears,
that don't really refresh them,
Or wash the world.
And those
who like good flowers with a stand
were torn from their own land;
but you do what can be
done
and without delay.
I love you tommorrow.
And although, one by one,
you'll eventually die.
And I know there's not much
I could do; If I could...
I'd wrap every single
body
tenderly
In a U.S. flag,
so beautifully,
for one last
symbolic hug
we'd owe to
you.
And where have all the good flowers gone?
Waiting to brighten
YOUR
environment, too,
In the place you go.

I thought of other cops (and military), too, who protect what many of us live FOR. And I'm definitely not scared of these kind of ghosts (the dead, of course.)
