I never take for granted those who know true honor and respect for peoples rights. Here's a poem from me to you:

"I'm Thankful For Those People..."
I'm thankful for those people
Who protect our homes and safety;
Comfort, and liberty...
With their heart's dignity;
And life's charity.
For those who give us one more
Chance
At life,
Or, protect us through pain
That cuts like a cold, hard
Knife.
I'm thankful for those who listen
With a logical mind
Before they argue
What's supposedly true...
Those who remind us of our
Potential
To pursue.
I'm thankful to those
So selflessly kind,
Who free the deserving,
And forgotten
From a bind.
And those who inspire
Or encourage
With an unbiased,
Considerate mind.
Such people are of a most
Profound beauty;
Helping to remind...
That our greatest of needs
are people, love,
Freedom,
And quality time...
For all
Mankind.
I'm thankful for a nation
Where - historically and now -
Freedom is
At the least
A mental lift.
And freedom and thankfulness is
Choosing and living
Our own life
Naturally...
As an individual
And as a uniquely
Human gift.
