Hill continued to shake up the department Friday with his decision not to swear in members of the county's joint drug task force. Hill said he wanted to conduct an audit before deputizing members of the Police Department or investigators from the district attorney's office.

Hill said he plans to meet with the county commissioners and District Attorney Jewell Scott on Monday to discuss the future of the task force. "If we work out something, great," Hill said. "If we cannot, I will start my own drug task force that will be open to everybody."

Chewy, a little background in in order I guess. vic hill tried and failed, to get the county PD disbanded when he announced his run for Sheriff. This is his way of trying to get put in charge of everything. His eo should explode anyday. Either that, or Im going to run him over with a bus. :D

Yes, but its a long drawn out process. We are waiting to see if the Governor is going to step up to the plate. I really doubt he is tho, because he just fired another black Sheriff. Google Sheriff Jackie Barret for details on that whole mess.

Mmm...I can smell it. This reminds me of the Mayor and her allies we ousted,
Robles was ousted as well. They were trying to change the PD's schedule their ways to prevent officers from collecting signatures. In the end, we made it. Glad we voted to ousted the mayor (and her allies, former Vice Mayor ((or Councilwoman)) Maria B. is the former Mayor's cousin) my sergeant friend dubbed her as Chulpacabra which I made a picture merged with a photo of Chulpacabra.

Dunno about this. I thought all Sheriffs in Ga were called Will - not Norm.

I keep reading that everyone is employed at Will or by Will or something to do with Will.

Anyway while I'm on a roll - just a thing about spelling.

Is it ASSHATERY or ASSHATTERY? I ask because I know what ASSHAT is and I know what *** is and HATE is. Is it ***-HATE as in "I hate that ***". Or is it ASSHATTERY as in the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (boy that could be getting close) from Alice in Wonderland (now I'm getting really close).
