Twenty three years and two to go...retiring young!!! :D I'll get 80% and do my artwork, airbrushing, wall murals, logos, etc., on the side which I really make more money at anyway. wOOOOOt!!! I'm going to stay on as a Reserve Deputy for about five more years to make it 100%. On the road again......
Began career as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in 1966 4 years
Became full time Police officer in 1970 retired in 2001 31 years
Became a Reserve Officer with my former department in 2001 the day I left full time (I can draw retirement and work for them part time did I say I retired?)
I hit the 38 year total last October and still counting. :-)
