I tried to find our old discussion on "Trading Spaces" but couldn't so I started a new one.
On Saturday, TLC is airing the episodes where the owners didn't like the new look. I saw one of the responses in the preview, the lady who just saw her newly decorated room starts to cry and quietly whispers, "I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to leave this room right now." I feel so bad for some of these people that have their homes turned inside out and then they're left to fix it. But how bad can you really feel for them......they asked for it. Anyway, just wanted to pass this along. I know you guys are interested in the program for it's educational purpose only. Heeheee!!!!

Oh, man!! I wish I had cable so I could see it!!! I would laugh my a$$ off to see these people!!
Of course, the decorating ideas would be awesome too. How do I sign up? I wonder if anyone could do anything with my soon-to-be house and the Spidey room? Of course, you can't improve upon perfection.. LOL...

LMFAO...Stump, I could use a few modifications myself. This house is friggin' 270 years old. It's an old slave house on the side of a mountain overlooking the Caribbean Sea with gravesites that have been grown over in the front yard. But hey....the view is second to none. Batman and I have been talking about going out there with a machete and clear away the thick brush and free up the gravesites.....but we have no winter here which means we have no reprieve from this heat!?!?!?! Dammit man!
I think the show is hysterical when these people freak out over the design work. The potential for a screwed up mess was there before they even popped the paint cans. Just look at the designers!
By the way, I don't recall if I've ever really watched one straight through. I generally see that it's on and then return to it for the last ten minutes. I caught the tail end of one today that had the lead singer from Dixie Chicks redoing her mom's bedroom. She should be on the Trading Space's "Where are they now".***Island Girl***

I saw the hole episode of the one where the lady said she had to leave the room. I did feel a little bad for her but I also thought she was a little arrogant. I like it better when they like the rooms but the one designer (cant think of her name) she has black hair and is a real B*tch. I think she needs to be fired. Page is my girl though:D

Hilde??? she's kind of a witch. ;) she's pretty bad at the decorating, too...i watched one episode where she glued straw on the walls. i would DIE!!!

I have to disagree- I don't like Genevieve's work. I think all the products she buys is cheap looking. I like Frank and Verns work the best. And lets not even talk about Doug. Did you guys see that Train cart room he made?! eck. I wouldn't had a heart attack right then and there!

Personally, I don't know what everyone sees in that show. NEVER, EVER would I let perfect strangers into my home and give them free rein to do whatever they wanted. Seems to me the height of stupidity. Brings to mind Caveat Emptor.

I saw a couple of the shows last night, er...at least the reactions. Batman and I were fighting for control of the tube because Cops & America's Most Wanted was on too. A very good friend of ours was one of the ATF guys on AMW. We couldn't miss that!?!?!?
