The one couple where the woman left the room was too funny. They told their friends exactly how they wanted the room decorated, and even put a note on the fireplace.

The whole idea of the show is that your neighbors do the work of the designer. The homeowner has no say in the design.

They should not have aggreed to do the show if they didn't agree to the terms. Besides, the room looked great!

Does it seem like the oriental designer gets a bum rap from the rest of the crew? I watched the other night and it seems that he really gets hassled by the rest of the team (the host, the carpenter, the other designer). I just noticed it the other day. Ty and the Paige were making somewhat derogatory remarks about him....leaving me the assumption that he is a bit on the arrogant side. Come on...he's an artist for cryin' out loud!?!?!?! Not expecting some arrogance from them is like expecting a hurricane without wind. Heehee.

Do you mean the ASIAN designer, or the designer who does oriental design? Food is oriental, art is oriental, the people from Asia are Asian.

I saw the episode, but didn't notice the comments. I think he does some of the best designs.

Vern is my favorite designer...he's awesome and I have loved almost all of his rooms!!! Doug...yuck!!! Frank...ehh, he's okay sometimes. Laurie...well, she's okay for the most part. Genivieve...I don't normally like what she does but I have seen one or two that she did that were okay. Hilde...eh, sometimes it's okay...but she put straw on the walls once...UGH!!! Umm...those are the only designers I can really think of...I don't know the new ones.

I dunno what the big deal was about the lady who had to go off camera to cry. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was the walls. Too much brown, but everything else came out nice and they didnt even mess with her fireplace like she asked, they made the thing to cover it which I thought was was pretty smart. Well anyways, if she didnt like it, tuff crap, she agreed to it. She seemed like an uptight Biotch to me and her hubbly looked pretty whipped too... Hehehehe. But yeah my faves are Frank and Verne as well and I also like the new black chick with the super short hair.... ANd Ty..... I wont even go there... he is FINE AND funny....For the most part I like the whole cast except for that one new guy... too flaming for me and DOUG is a JERKY.... ok thats my .02 for today. :cool:
