    resqr1,

well i feel funny when reading your mail, dont really know why, but then well just funny.

Yes i totally agree and if the pants really have stains on it especially white color, my god i can tell you, you can actually get a tailor instead, it can't be removed, especially those stain from your car. That is also why those mechanic wearing same pair of pants, but you can actually notice that the pants get darker and darker day by day although they bleach it as well as wash it.

    Cheers!

    1/2 Off

I agree with TX about the half off deal. To me that sounds like someone is on the "take". 20 or 30 years ago, the regular beat cop didn't make much money and since he was foot patrol, the local restaurants would give the cop on the beat a cup of coffee, small things like that. But in this day and age, with cops riding in patrol cars patrolling a larger area, that kind of familiarity is gone. The cop unconciously expects special prices and the vendor expects extra consideration. Familiarity breeds contempt. Doing something like that these days what with camcorders and such being so prevalent, and with paparozzi hunting for a sordid story, could turn around and bite the cop right on the butt. I NEVER take advantage of half price or free and believe me its been offered to me, even if it insults the vendor. I pay full price. I feel better about myself.

    mac,

i think what you say is totally 100% correct, when i was a school prefect i get offered half of the price too when i eat at the school sometimes even free. Just because i am the head of a department in the school prefectorial board.

But then i rejected their offer, and they asked me why sometimes when i really have nothing to do i will tell them "My mom say, if you don't have money don't eat!" ahahahha that's all and sometimes make them laughing all way long!

Yes and the electric wire, well police rejected the demand.

To me it's true also, how sure are you once you transfered the money they wont strike again? When their money gone done they will demand for more.

Than*s for the comments, fol*s. I appreciate the input.

I didn't mean to start a nasty argument or anything, just wanted to get some thoughts on the letter. Needless to say, I will be changing some of the things I do on patrol from now on.
