Thank you very much for the info but, i think it would only fair to return the favor. you missused the word obligating. i think the word that you were looking for is obliging(willing to do favors).
talk about the blind leading the blind.

now about your other comment .i really think we might have jumped off the subject. but, i will leave you with one question
Are you saying that just because i don't necessarily agree with you on a subject then i shouldn't become an officer? you can e-mail your response or post it.

I'm not a cop yet stuohn, like you. I realize that this job is going to be very difficult I think the one point that I realized along time ago is I'm not going to judge someone if I wasn't in that position. I have a pretty good idea how i would of reacted if that kid squeezed my family jewels and it would of been the same way. Sorry about the spelling or grammar, I'm not an english teacher.

I remember reading something somewhere that quoted a remark made by the emergency room doctor. According to the report, the doctor said the officer complained of pain in the groin area but seemed to be almost embarrassed to discuss it. He also said the boy was very rude and arrogant toward even the doctor.

I don't know what the rules are for such incidents, but my sympathies are with the officer. And I don't doubt that the boy and his attorney will exaggerate the extent of his injuries.
May you always find new roads to travel, new horizons to explore, and new dreams to call your own.

If you look at the video there is a point where you can see the officers face change like something happened, then his face got red and thats when he hit the kid.

Almost forgot to add one or two more things.

Yes, there are some sadistic/arrogant mo-fo LEOs out there. They give us all a bad name. On the other hand, a LOT of these criminals are WAY overdue for "attitude adjustments" (whether it's from their parents, from their neighbors, from other criminals, from the police, from the system, etc). In the Inglewood case, I really hope the use of force was justified.

One of the first things a mentor will try to impress upon you will be that "No Inmate/Criminal/Scumbag Is Worth Your Job!" (Repeat out loud as many times as necessary).
