I prefer lightbars
I prefer slick tops
I like 'em both

The thing that has worked for me in my VERY limited experience at this point working the road, code runs in particular, is the spotlight. People are in the ZONE when they are driving, and sometimes won't even notice your lights, and their music drowns out your siren. Switch that spot on, and strafe it through their interior, specifically across all three of their side and rear mirrors, and that gets people into the present as quickly as any other fancy lightbar.Originally Posted by tpd_six
I (as a citizen) think the lightbars like explorer949 are better. Not only does it have NO moving parts, is 360, and is aerodynamic. I Simply think that in order for a cruiser to be the most visable the lights should be the highest possible.
For example you are trying to pull me over (not like I would ever do anything worthy of such) and there is two or three cars in between us - I cannot see you wig-wags but alas I can see those roof mounted lights!!
Again my .02
