city pd had a foot pursuit the my apartment complex new years eve a couple years back, which ended on our patio, with the suspect proned out at gunpoint. # 1 stepson brilliantly went over & opened the curtains & looked to see what was going on. needless to say he got ranked back, the curtains closed, and it was explained to him why it's a good idea to stay away from the windows in that situation (sheesh)
