do any of you have any personal contact with someone or 'is' someone that works (or even was an inmate) in one of the southern state and/or federal prisons (hopefully GA, SC, or north Florida)? Not the jails, the actual prisons. I'd like to get with you or someone you know '1 on 1' when/if you have time. Or anyone that can point me to 'someone' that is.

My cousin worked for USBOP @ Leavenworth prior to becoming a Federal Marshal. I know a bunch of guys who worked for Tn DOC.

damn anyone closer to GA ;) If you don't mind whenever you get a chance to see/talk to them sometime in the next two months (no rush whatsoever) could you ask if they don't mind I send them a couple of interview questions? 1 person is ok sure, but the more angles I get the better.

I should be talking to a couple of the former TDOC guys this weekend. My cousin is kind of hard to catch up with right now, but I'll try him too.

well honestly, to be 100% super great it'd be one I could travel to (which is why I said GA ;). it doesn't have to be though, I could still field interview questions through email.
