Are the police officers at DFW airport seperate from you guys? I have heard that police and fire are separated at the airport, but curious to know if they are city officers or a separate department like us here in Nashville. ;)

DFW Ariport used to have a Dpeartment of Public Safety. You started in LE, got Paramedic trained and evantually trained as a FF. I think the Officers assigned to vehicle kept their FF gear in the car, and met the truck when needed.

No idea if it is the same now.

they can but i don't think they have to anymore. they are now just DFW Police. they took out the whole "airport" part.

and they are their own department. they are one of the larger agencies in DFW.

Parade? What parade???...Forgive my ignorance as I must have been asleep...

Ref. to DFW police, I heard recently they quit the cross training stuff.... I guess you become either fire or police now but I don't know any details about this.
