I'm trying to put a new scheudle together for my dispatch center. Right now we have 5 dispatchers working 8 hour shifts. We are currently doing the system where one week you have Mon, Tue off then the next week, Tue & Wed. Then every 5th week you have your 3 day weekend. I'm trying to get it worked out where we go to the 5-3 schedule. Or anything for that matter. Just as long as they don't have to work the 6 days. No matter what, the LT has said, it has to be 80 hours per week. Anybody have any suggestions?!?!

40 hrs per week, pay period is every two weeks. so 80 hrs a pay period. our pay period ends on a Saturday night at 11:59 and begins sunday at 0000hrs.

If at all possible would try to use a 10 hour schedule. Each person would work 4 10 hour days and have 3 off a week, equaling 80 hours in a pay week.
