hardly deserving of a medal, but thanks. people don't pay us to hash out our personal biases at work. they pay us to protect and serve whether we like our colleagues or not. fortunately, i like my FD colleagues and think very highly of them. besides, if i ever got hurt, it's their siren i would want to hear most.Originally Posted by Sgt. kennedale is a cesspool right now. even the chief was caught taking numeroud guns from the gun vault/half ther city goverment has been found to be breaking laws.the only thing good about them is that they make for good reading.i have a close friend that has his own business there and he keeps me up to date.
they hired an officer i know who got fired from another agency so surely they would only hire the best right?
your friend doesn't own one of the fine establishments on the corner of 820 does he? :D
Although I don't know anything about the situation you mentioned, there are times when a person is made a scapegoat and fired unjustly. When things like that happen, a person's credibility takes a nose-dive and it means they have to work that much harder to maintain their reputation and prove everyone wrong.Originally Posted by P01IC3M4N
One shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Read the whole thing first.

mu buddy is indeed fairly close to 820. he owns a place called mattress man.the city council has also been in trouble.they have again indeed hired less than quailfied officers.that is one of the things that came out.they have hired people that were extreme problems in other cities
 he wasn't a scapegoat. i honestly don't think he should be a security guard at mcdonald's. the guy had the job handed to him and he completely f'ed it up. banging high school girls doesn't help your reputation either; and that's not even what he was fired for. i read that book almost 20 years ago. it should have went in the burn pile.Originally Posted by kateykakes
As I said previously, I don't know anything about that particular situation you mentioned. Sounds like the guy is a total whack job. Some of the things you said in your post got me thinking. I just making reference to someone I know personally that was fired unjustly. All too many times, people jump to conclusions without getting facts first.Originally Posted by P01IC3M4N
