    ever happen to you? liers!

i was rolling down the strett the other day and i saw a mope grab women by the hair and yank her head down to the gound and push her. i was passing by about 50 feet away. i stopped, backed up, asked for another car and got out. i snatched up the guy and put him in cuffs. he was extremely polite, "sir, whats going on, what did i do?" i said, "i saw you assult this women, your real tough arent you" he says " sir, i never assulted anyone, she was falling and i was trying to catch here" this went on for several mins. me arguing with this idiot, eventually i started to doubt what i saw. i asked the women what happened, she says nothing, i was falling. another officer got on the scene and we were able to seperate them. im still talking to the guy and he is so nice, so convincing, that i am buying it. maybe i didnt see what i thought i saw. now im feeling bad, getting ready to unhook the guy. finally the response comes back he is wanted for domestic battery. the women who is now with another officer finally admits he was beating her ***. the guy was so good that i actually didnt believe my own eyes, was ready to cut him loose, and tell him i was sorry.. once i found out the truth i was like (aaahhhhhhhh HAH! i knew it!!) to think, that someone would actually lie to the police.. end result? arrest for warrant, domestic battery, battery, and i threw in a public intox to boot. (hey, he had glassy blood shot eyes, unsteady on his feet, an odor of alcohol ommiting from his person and admitted he had been drinking) LIE TO ME WILL YAH

I had a long foot pursuit about three weeks ago, ending in a wrestling match in a thicket of blackberries. Guy I was after was only wearing shorts and came out of it not only handcuffed but bleeding from dozens of cuts.

Turned out he was the victim.

I came around the corner in time to see him push an older lady to the ground and take off running, missed the part where she (the older lady) came across the street to slap the snot out of him and also missed the part about her daughter whacking him with an axe handle.

    oops.

She was probably scared to death of telling the truth about the guy. Good thing you separated them & found out what really happened. Great job...even if he was an expert liar.
