Stop in and say hi when your passing through, I always have a cold kokanee in the fridge!!
Never heard of it, but I always steer clear of "get rich quick" pitches my buddies are trying to sell me... Unless it's my own business, and not some AMWAY bull ****, I'm not investing any money up front in anything, and I'm not giving a portion of my profit to anyone other than Uncle Sam..... BTW, this really should be in GTII, not GTI...

Interestingly enough, I was bored and decided to take a look for this online... It's "Powered by Quixtar"....You should be able to find a lot of information on the net about Quixtar, and Team of Destiny...

My brother is actually part of it, it is a good thing and not a scam. There is actually a cop that retired from the force after making it through the buisness. If you want my bro could let ya'll know all about it.

I recently saw a news article about this...the CEO of Quixtar was skating around every question he was asked, and responding with canned answers. They eventually pryed out of him that the "average" IBO (independent business owner) uses Quixtar to "supplement" their existing income.... It's not a scam, but it's surely a scheme!! I would steer clear!

What do YOU have to do to make money with them ? Sell something or recruit others ? Approach with great suspicion anything internet related. It coud be OK but I would be wary

Any business where you have to sell a truckload of toothpaste, and a rail car of hair combs each week to turn a profit, isn't worth the investment to me....

Quixtar is connected with Amway... I believe it's the online version.
Quixtar isn't a part of AMWAY. AMWAy closed a few years back. I know this cause their HQ was based in Grand Rapids, MI and they even had a huge hotel which got baught out by some high price chain. I was sadly a member of Quixtar for 1 year then I said it's a waste and I won't by anythign or sell anything for them again. Quixtar is Michigan based but out of Ann Arbor not Grand Rapids. Amway was named after Margret Amway a traveling sales person of the 30's and 40's.
thanks alot for your input, I am gonna stay away from this crew!!

It's not really part of Amway or Quixar. And the key point of any scam/scheme is that the higher people make more money off of the lower people. But it is entirely possible for the lower people to make more than the higher people, and thus become the higher people. The name of the cop that retired at 30 because of doing this on the side is Mike Jones he was a Michigan cop. He talks at some of the seminars. Everyone that actually works at it has been able to retire at a very early age. I'm not exactly sure how it all works all I know is that you get something for bringing people in and for buying stuff of of the site. My brother knows what it is, but he is at a meeting for it tonight other wise I would have him tell you all about it.

DeVos and Van Andel founded both Amway & Quixtar; while technically neither company owns the other, both are subsidiaries of the same company and there are several ties between their distribution networks.Quixtar is part of the Alticor family of companies, as are Amway Corp. and Access Business Group LLC. Quixtar benefits from more than 50 years of experience in marketing, manufacturing, and logistics gained by Alticor and its owners, co-founders Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel and their families.

I was wrong earlier. Like you said, Quixtar isn't the internet mirror image, but they do have similar roots and structures.

My buddy and his family is part of it, and it seems to be working out for them quiet well. It seems that if you devote enough time in it, you will see a decent income within a few months depending on how well you do recruiting. Last time I checked, his parents are making $1,000 a month, and he is making $200 a month; that was six months ago, i have no idea how much they are making now.
They explained the whole thing to me, if you have any other questions, maybe i can help.
