I could make a lot more than 1K per month at a part time job after retirement withot having to sell or recruit others. Sounds slighlty scammy to me but that is just an impression.

Well everyone that really works at it is able to supplement their income so that they no longer have to work. So you would be making what you are now, and be able to retire long before you put in 20 or more years.
